WORKFLOW

THE BOOKING PROCESS

For all tattoo appointments I start with an initial consultation, this can be done either face-to-face or over email if you live outside of South Wales.

During the consultation we will discuss the placement of the tattoo as well as the style you are looking for and any important details that need to be included.

After that I then use the information that you've given me and create a design that is 100% bespoke to you. I also take a non refundable booking fee of £100 to secure your tattoo appointment.

THE TATTOO

The tattoo application process begins with cleaning the desired area and then placing to tattoo stencil to the skin.  After that you can check the placement, size, etc in the mirror, once you are happy with it, we can start the tattooing process. After your tattoo is completed the area will be cleaned with organic soap and wrapped in a protective film.

THE AFTERCARE

Looking after your new tattoo is a very simple process.

Keep your new tattoo clean, dry and free from any contaminants.

Day 1 - I recommend to leave the protective wrap on for 2-3 hours after getting your tattoo, then remove and wash the tattoo in warm water and unscented natural soap. Afterwards either leave the tattoo to air dry or pat dry with clean kitchen towel. It is important that you do not apply any creams, scented soaps or ointments to the tattoo for at least 2 days after having your tattoo. Over the next few days, you may find that your tattoo may still leak ink or clear plasma/fluid, but this is normal and part of the healing process.

Day 3-onwards - Your tattoo should have dried out considerably from Day One, this is when you can apply Butterluxe Tattoo Balm to the tattoo with clean hands. Be sure to only use a small amount as a little goes a long way andyou can always add more but you can't take away. Repeat this process twice daily for 5-7 days.

Always remember to wash your new tattoo twice a day and be sure to ask if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help.
